Most people underestimate the amount of water they should drink while flying.
It is suggested that you should drink 8 Oz of water for each hour of flying.
Water helps get rid of toxins, keeps the brain healthy and it helps offset jet lag. It also helps with fatigue and the dryness we experience from air pressure.
It does help to get a bottle of water after you’ve gone through security.
You are much more likely to drink more if you have that water handy.
So drink lots of water!

You are Flying!

Most people never take any time to just stop and experience the fact that they are flying.
On a small plane you can’t avoid that experience. But Big planes are designed with so many distraction tha you often don’t stop to really experience and feel that you are at 33,000–49,000 feet  in the air flying at approximately 550 mph.
It is really pretty miraculous. So take just a few moments to stop and
Feel the experience.

The majority of commercial aircraft are designed to be pressurized to the equivalent of an elevation of 6,000 to 8,000 feet about 11 pounds per square inch. This decreased pressure environment diminishes our bodies’ ability to absorb oxygen. Passengers may experience fatigue, nausea, headaches, sleeplessness, and (on extended flights) even pulmonary oedema.  Also, you may find when you start to stress out you are breathing very shallowly. One way to instantly get into the Now is by breathing. Taking deep breaths will calm your mind, give you that more of that oxygen you need and relax your body and mind.  REMEMBER

Safe House in your soul

If you find yourself Frazzled or in a spin,
Take a few breaths and go within
There is a Safe house in your soul,
Where you can be clear,
And let all your worries go.
Be in the Silence and you will find,
You can refocus and renew your Peace of Mind
