There is a Wonderful Spanish saying that goes
Vaya con Dios,
Or Go with God,
When you travel try going with God
as your travel companion.
And remember God has your back.

Safe House in your soul

If you find yourself Frazzled or in a spin,

Take a few breaths and go within

There is a Safe house in your soul,

Where you can be clear,

And let all your worries go.

Be in the Silence and you will find,

You can refocus and renew your Peace of Mind

“The journey not the arrival matters.” – T. S. Eliot

So think of the coming and goings of the trip as a wonderful maze that you travel.
It is all of part of the package of travel and learning how to deal with it
can really change your whole travel experience.

Restoring input

When you travel you are bombarded with

Huge amounts of energy that you need to output.

and all the while you are also receiving a massive

amounts of sensory input.

The sounds of a plane, what you need to see just to get

where you are going, the bad air you breathe, the junk food you eat and caffeine you drink all can easily deplete and exhaust you.

All of this can take away your energy and make you sick.

Take some time to breathe, relax and restore yourself.

Wear a soothing eye mask, drink lots of bottled water and go within.

Feel the Ease of Peace

Let the struggles go

All that you’ve been fighting for

has worn the weary soul.

Feel the ease of being in the moment

Let all the work of Life

Slip from your shoulders

And let it fall.

You are here in spirit

You are in this space.

Let the  light of presence

Heal you with it’s Grace.

Open up your heart

Open up your mind.

Breathe in the ease of being here

And let it calm your mind.

There is a Peace that passeth understanding

Be in that Peace right now

Many airports now have a prayer or meditation room.

It is well work going online to see if the airport you are

going to has one. There is one in Phoenix, Detroit, Milwaukee, Newark,

Port Columbus, Albuquerque, Albany and many others. Most times these are non-denominational rooms that are quiet and a wonderful place to recharge you batteries and find some peace. Check the Airport you’ll be going to and see if they have one. You’ll be glad you did.

When you travel you are given a Golden Opportunity

To turn off your electronic devices.

Be prepared, you may go through some withdrawal.

But what an opportunity to stop your addiction to your

Texting and being constantly in the mind.

Take this time to go within

Be still, Stop the mind.

Stop everything that is distracting

and relax, breath and be still

and be with who you are.

Just be.

Only those who go where few have gone can see what few have seen.
- Buddha
How far do you go and what do you see?
And when you go far and see much, how much do you learn and change?
How much of your true self is revealed and how much of that self is willing to fully express itself?
What does going far within and without lead you to find?

Get a Journal for your travels.

Let your soul speak to you there.

Write down your intentions for your trip.

Let the words you write express your feelings, your lessons,

Your impressions and how you are doing.

What sounds, what colors, what magic. Let it be a bridge between your mind and your soul.

Your travel journal is a living energy, it can be full of pictures, tickets, sketches and momentoes.

Moments captured in your journal.

A wonderful Sufi quote from a Sufi teacher that Oprah related

that really is a blessing to remember when traveling,

“Become like a Feather on the Breath of God.”

How we could travel  if that were so.

Imagine yourself as a Feather on the Breath of God.

Think of the words you wish to bring you to a good space in your mind…

Perhaps words like Relax, Peace, Love, Light, Happiness,

Success, Relationship, God, Beloved, Angels, Wonderful, Joy, Christ, Buddha, Miracles, Family, or friendship.

Connect with the essence and power of those words. Let those words act as

A focal point in your mind. Use them to bring you back to center is you start to be drawn into worry, anger or fear.

Let positive words bring you positive energy .

Peace Be Still

When your traveling you can feel yourself bombarded

By a million things to do,

 you can  find yourself distracted

And out of touch with what’s the true you,

Then find the place inside you

And be anchored there and strong,

And let your soul enfold you

With just a few breaths you can right what’s wrong.

Say, Peace Be still, I’m with you

Let all the worries slip away,

Peace Be still I’m with you,

Each and every day.

What pushes your buttons?

When you travel you will find out what pushes your buttons.

Something or someone

will cause you to get upset, bothered or angry.

Your ego will stare you in the face.

Stop and let the ego speak to you,

And then recognize what it is you can

Learn to overcome in you,

Or how you can deal with it,

When your buttons get pushed

While traveling try on the attitude of We May Never Pass this Way Again.?
That was a song by Seals and Croft, based on their faith.
It also goes back to fables that remind us to enjoy and learn from
our experiences while being here on Earth.
Our time here is very Precious and extremely valuable.
That state of mind is useful remember while going through the challenges of being in transit.
It is all part of a journey.
How do you choose to learn from it?

On your Journey

When you get weary,

Or if you get ill or lose your way,

Call upon The legions of Angels, Master and guides

Who stand by to help and watch over you.

Receive their Presence.

Allow your self to ask Spirit to

Redeem, Renew and Restore you,

and to let that magical part of your nature

Come into your body, mind and soul.

Give thanks for this most wonderful gift

And so it is.

Life after life

Day after day

Its all a journey we travel

To find a better way.

We are not on this trip alone

Even though we think it today.

As we go with God

We are with God’s children come what may.

And we need each other in so many ways.

As we travel the path together

Life after Life

Day after day

What excess baggage did you bring on your trip?

What did you pack in that bag that you never wore?

What clothes can really make your trip better?

What costumes set the stage for who you think you are?

How many times do we promise to pack light

And yet there is always some reason we fill that bag

Right to the top and then some.

Oh to remember it’s not the stuff we wear that

Makes us happy.

Its the stuff inside us that makes for a great trip.

Expect Miracles on your Journey

And leave your Mind and heart open to them.

For in truth all of Life is full of Miracles.

Everyday we are blessed with Miracles

that we do not see or recognize.

Ask for Miracles, expect Miracles

Believe in Miracles.

And expect Miracles.

And be oh so grateful when they Happen.
